We announce here a paper under preparation for the IPOL Journal, in which we adapt the Exposure Fusion method to a Retinex usage. Exposure Fusion is a technique used in the context of high dynamic range imaging, which fuses a bracketed exposure sequence into a high quality image. Our proposition takes advantage of Exposure Fusion in the more general context of improving the overall quality of any image, turning Exposure Fusion into a new and simple contrast and color enhancement operator.
